Job Summary

We are searching for a full-time Administrative Assistant / Drug Screening Collector to support medical and safety efforts at a large-scale construction project in Boise, ID. This position provides administrative support to the onsite clinic and is responsible for collecting drug and alcohol testing samples while following established site procedures and all applicable HIPAA laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform oral fluid, urine drug, and breath alcohol collections in accordance with DOT standards and established site procedures.
  • Maintain chain of custody and the privacy and confidentiality of all donor information in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Track all drug confirmation tests and notify the employee's DERs of work status, MRO reviews, etc.
  • Schedule patients in accordance with the clinic's schedule.
  • Scan all patient visit notes into the EMR.
  • Organize and maintain Client Implementation Files.
  • Organize and maintain Account Management Meeting Agenda and Notes.
  • Help maintain Onsite staff files.
  • Create forms as needed and/or coordinate with Corporate Communications Staff on forms.
  • Make travel arrangements as needed.
  • Keep an updated list of office supplies and facilitate the ordering of office supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Additional college education to associate degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience in performing administrative duties.
  • Trained to DOT standards for drug and alcohol testing, or able to complete training upon hire.
  • Experience with drug and alcohol specimen collection preferred.
  • CNA preferred.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); able to learn other software as needed.
  • Complete training in EMR, TPA reporting, and OSHA within 30 days of site access.

Physical Demands

  • Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.
  • Some bending and stretching could be required.
  • Working under stress and use of computer/phone required.
  • Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard and specimen collection.
  • Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds and climb stairs.
  • Ability to kneel for extended periods of time while rendering emergency care and/or CPR.

Work Environment

  • Mainly indoor, office and medical clinic environment conditions.
  • The noise level is usually moderate.
  • Air quality is good, and temperature is controlled.

 

This position has an hourly pay range of $25.00-$26.50 per hour. Final compensation for this position depends on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
