Wilson Health is seeking a highly skilled and strategic facilities professional to serve as Facilities Project and Compliance Manager within the Plant Operations Department. This role serves as a key partner to the Director of Plant Operations and functions as a senior individual contributor responsible for project management, capital planning, regulatory compliance, and operational coordination across the organization.   The position plays a critical role in overseeing capital projects, managing vendor relationships, supporting accreditation readiness, developing policies, and ensuring facilities operations align with regulatory and safety standards. This role carries organizational accountability for project execution and compliance outcomes and requires hospital or healthcare facilities experience.   Key Perks and Benefits:

Department: Plant Operations Reports To: Director of Plant Operations Status: Salaried Exempt, Full Time   Essential Responsibilities   Project Management & Capital Planning
  • Lead and manage facility-related projects from concept through completion, including renovations, infrastructure upgrades, equipment installations, and compliance-driven improvements.
  • Serve as the organization's internal project manager and general contractor liaison, coordinating timelines, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop project scopes, obtain bids and quotes, evaluate vendors, and recommend selections based on cost, quality, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and perform cost analysis to support capital planning and fiscal responsibility.
  • Partner with leadership on capital budget planning and forecasting.
Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation Support
  • Serve as a key resource for facilities-related regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and accreditation requirements (ACHC, CMS, local, state and federal standards).
  • Develop, review, and maintain facilities-related policies and procedures to ensure regulatory alignment.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and surveys and support corrective action planning as needed.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to maintain safe, compliant, and survey-ready environments.
Vendor & Contract Management
  • Manage relationships with contractors, engineers, inspectors, service providers, and consultants.
  • Oversee vendor performance, contract compliance, timelines, and cost controls.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for project-related vendor coordination.
Facilities Operations & Safety Support
  • Assist with oversight of building safety, infrastructure reliability, and security-related initiatives.
  • Support emergency preparedness planning and response related to facilities operations.
  • Partner with Plant Operations leadership to address operational challenges and continuous improvement opportunities.
Strategic Support & Leadership Collaboration
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Director of Plant Operations on department priorities and organizational initiatives.
  • Provide analysis, recommendations, and reporting related to facilities performance, project outcomes, and compliance metrics.
  • Support long-range planning for infrastructure and operational sustainability.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in facilities operations, project management, capital planning, or healthcare facilities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, budgets, and vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and compliance in healthcare environments.
  • Proven ability to write policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to support operational needs as required (no formal on-call rotation).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hospital or healthcare system facilities experience strongly preferred.
  • Accreditation or regulatory experience (ACHC, Joint Commission, CMS, or similar).
  • Project management certification (PMP or similar) is a plus.
