Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Transfer Station Equipment Operator is responsible for sorting and loading construction/demolition and household materials into tractor trailers. Separating recyclable materials such as metal and cardboard. Proper equipment maintenance. Driving a tractor trailer around site to change out trailers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Maintain and operate front end loaders, tractor trailers, and excavators.
* Keep materials pushed up and stored to maximize available facility space.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment both inside and outside the facility.
* Report any potential malfunctions or disruptions of transfer station functionality.
* Report on time.
* Complete all training requirements in a timely manner.
* Work a rotating Saturday half day as scheduled.
* Available for up to twelve hour shifts Monday through Friday.
OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.
* Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by Waste Pro USA.
* Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
