About the role: As a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA), you'll use your training to provide person-centred care, support daily living, and help clients stay comfortable and independent in their own homes. - Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) certification
- PSW, HSW, or similar certifications from another province, relevant certification or work experience, or internationally educated nurses, may be considered if they are currently enrolled in or eligible to enroll in the Nova Scotia CCA Recognizing Prior Learning (RPL) Program
- Must have a current Standard First Aid Certificate or CPR level C Certificate
- Must enjoy driving, have a personal vehicle and possess both a current driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
- A current and original copy of a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check required
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
