Provide technical skills to train teachers in the classroom to carry out SMART training techniques. Responsible for coordinating procedures and performing technical laboratory duties in accordance with plans.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in a field related to research to be conducted. Four years of experience in scientific or experimental research work. Experience supervising a research project and staff. Thorough working knowledge of the various types of equipment used in the assigned laboratory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work with team to train teachers how to implement SMART in the classroom. Exercises responsibility for project performance and accountability for progress and personally performs research work. Suggests modifications to, or improvements in, the design of research projects. May present original ideas for follow-up studies. Recommends the utilization of new or revised techniques and procedures to obtain desired results. Assembles and analyzes research data, and assists in the preparation of material for reports or publication.
Some overnight travel is required.
