Description

The University of California Irvine Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery is seeking a fellowship-trained Neurotologist to join our expanding department as a Assistant, Associate, or Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology. Step will be determined based on training and experience. Applicants should be board-certified or board-eligible in otolaryngology and be eligible to apply for a California medical license. We are currently a department of 11 clinical faculty, with two full-time faculty in the division of neurotology. Our center performs a high volume of otologic and neurotologic procedures at 3 clinical sites in addition to radiosurgery. Our team has a strong relationship with the neurosurgery team.

The successful candidate will have fellowship training in neurotology and skull base surgery. A strong commitment to building a translational or basic science research program is strongly desired. Faculty are expected to actively participate in the overall mission of the department, which includes providing excellent patient care, teaching of residents and students, performing university and public service, performing original research, and demonstrating professional competency and scholarly activity.
