Description
Trinity Health IHA Medical Group has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Physician Assistant to join our Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery team at Trinity Health Oakland Hospital located in Pontiac, Michigan.
The selected candidate will assist surgeons in the diagnosis and treatment of patients and provide service continuity in the outpatient setting, including preoperative care, postoperative care, as well as management of non-operative patient conditions.
The selected candidate will also perform various therapeutic and minor procedures including suture/staple removal as well as assist surgeons in the operating room, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Physician Assistant Certification.
- State of Michigan license.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- One or more years of clinical experience in pediatric orthopedic surgery.
- Current certification to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Michigan.
- Progressive expertise in the management of patients at the Advanced Practice level.
- The ability to function independently.
- Demonstrated leadership in work setting or other professional activities.
