Description
Loyola University Medical Center, Department of Radiation Oncology, is seeking a Medical Physicist to join the faculty at Loyola Palos South Campus located in Orland Park, Illinois.
The selected candidate will join a group consisting of nine medical physicists who have clinical responsibilities throughout our network in brachytherapy, SRS/SBRT, TBI, and quality assurance.
The ideal candidate will be Board Certified (or Board Eligible) with a PhD in Medical Physics or related field, and a strong clinical background in Radiation Oncology Physics. We are seeking an individual who has good communication skills, the ability to problem solve, and who enjoys working independently, as well as part of a team.
Participation in the teaching of physics and medical residents, along with the development of an independent research program, is expected. This is a faculty position and rank is commensurate with experience.
