Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the communities served by Travis Credit Union, which include the following counties: Alameda, Colusa, Contra Costa, Merced, Napa, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, and Yolo. For hybrid and remote roles, candidates are still required to reside within a commutable distance of our corporate headquarters in Vacaville, California.
We are unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of employment visas for this position. Candidates must have current authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
Schedule: Monday-Friday, exempt, hybrid work arrangement with occasional onsite work at the corporate office in Vacaville and weekly travel to branch locations.
Summary: Marketing's Communications managementoversees all internal and external communications for Travis Credit Union (TCU), ensuring TCU's message is consistent and engaging. This management team is responsible for communicating the credit union's vision and plan through targeted communication efforts, establishing a consistent voice and recognizable brand for TCU audience.
Profile:
- Manages all TCU Marketing communication programs, plus commercial business partnership (SEG) relationships and brand awareness.
- Overall responsibility for Brand awareness and management. Establishes a strong company brand voice that is recognizable through all corporate communication.
- Responsible for design and performance of TCU's internal communications strategy, focused on driving employee engagement. Inclusive of program metrics and analytics.
- Maintains effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant organization functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
- Owns the content and drives the strategy for employee communication channels including TCU intranet, digital screens, videos, presentations (Town Hall, Travis Talk & R2A), blogs and member testimonials.
- Provides communication consultation to executive and senior leadership teams.
- Develops, plans and implements Marketing communication campaigns and SEG relationship strategy with Marketing leadership.
- Designs and oversees strategic brand communications and social media campaigns, resulting in Marketing's quantitative metrics and forecasting.
- Partners with key stakeholders across credit union to align department communication objectives focused on supporting annual business goal activities.
- Creates and publish messages aligned with mission, vision and values and brand voice/tone.
- Responsible for individual career growth for Marketing communication employees focused on professional growth and team building.
- Is active contributory member of Marketing leadership.
- Works closely with the internal Creative and Marketing teams, assisting with new product/campaign launches.
Skills:
- Expert level presentation and business analytics capabilities (MS Office).
- Desired system experience: Advanced Office Suite including, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, excel, Project Management tool (i.e. Monday, Basecamp & etc.)
- Working knowledge of Google docs; photo and video-editing software is an asset
- Strong people and project management skills and corporate marketing background.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to see the ‘big picture'.
- Proven experience with corporate communication strategy and execution.
- Proven experience tailoring communication style to each intended audience, communicating across boundaries, and building cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven success meeting demanding deadlines with a high commitment to accuracy and accountability.
- Previous success with Agile Management workload and delivery schedules.

Experience:
- Reports directly to Manager, Marketing.
- Supervisory responsibilities for assigned Corporate Marketing department staff.
- BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the financial, banking or credit union industry.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory or leadership role in Marketing.
Compensation:
- Supervisor, Retail Communications: Grade 15/Exempt $82,680.00 – $102,128.00
