Tetra Tech AMT is looking for a Systems Engineer whose primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop a centralized inventory of technical solutions (tools, capabilities, and data) used for selecting, planning, and executing different types of divestments:
    • Identify authoritative sources and ownership of tool/data.
    • Identify users of the data and their application of the data in the divestment process.
    • Visualize and document how data flows through the divestment process. Identify inputs, outputs, transformations, and storage points.
    • Define categories of data and tools.
  • Establish relationships, dependencies, data flows among the technical solutions identified in Task 1. This should be accomplished via development of a mind-map or other visual representation.
  • Assess existing technical solutions for different divestment processes (e.g., prioritization, planning, execution, and tracking) and types of divestment (e.g., procedures, unstaffed facilities, surveillance equipment) to identify gaps and opportunities to improve enterprise divestment decision-making:
    • Identify gaps and potential solutions to improve the use of existing technical solutions to support enterprise level divestment decision-making,
    • Identify how the existing technical solutions could be leveraged to create enterprise-level technical solution(s) to improve enterprise divestment decision-making by considering the needs across divestment processes and types of divestments.
The successful candidate will have:
  • A minimum of 6 -10 years of relevant experience 
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering (civil, electrical, electronic, chemical, industrial, mechanical, aeronautical, systems or computer) or Physical Sciences (e.g., mathematics, physics, meteorology, chemistry, etc.)
