Your Role:

Tetra Tech's Disaster and Emergency Management operating unit is currently hiring for a Travel Coordinator. This is a hybrid position based out of our Orlando and Maitland office locations. The selected candidate is responsible for supporting and coordinating all travel needs for our department, as well as any cost reconciliation that may follow.

·        Coordinating all travel plans and records for traveling staff (airfare, vehicle rental, and lodging arrangements).

·        Performing research and providing alternative travel options in response to budget goals and/or requested travel preferences.

·        Maintain professional communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

·        Be able to analyze and provide solutions to critical problems.

·        Perform manual data entry recording travel arrangements.

·        Perform careful receipt reconciliation pertaining to arranged travel arrangements.

·        Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.

·        Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.

·        Additional duties as required. 

Qualifications:

·        Logistics and travel arrangement experience is preferred.

·        Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.).

·        Effectively operate a computer and able to navigate operating systems without supervision.

·        Be detail oriented, organized, and maintain exceptional time management skills.

·        Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

·        Can communicate effectively at all levels: verbal and written.

·        Be able to work extensive hours sometimes on short notice, including weekends, to support emergency response operations.

·        Be able to follow protocol and suggest process improvements where appropriate.

·        Maintain a positive attitude and be willing to learn.

·        Have a problem-solving mindset.

·        Be comfortable asking questions when something is unclear.

·        Must have a valid driver license.

This position with Tetra Tech is temporary and on an "as needed" basis and will end. It is understood that your employment is to be on an "at will" basis.
