Your Role:

•    Perform engineering calculations in support of permitting, design and construction/remediation projects.
•    Analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, test data, aerial photographs and other technical information.
•    Support the preparation of engineering reports, permit applications, cost estimates, specifications, construction schedules, and designs for projects.
•    Support investigation and construction projects, including monitoring progress and ensuring conformance to engineering plans and specifications, as well as construction and safety standards.
•    Conduct field investigations as a member of a field team.
 

 

Qualifications:

  • Working toward a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.   Basic understanding of water resources concepts are important.  Previous Co-op/Intern engineering assignments a plus. 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as scientific reports, engineering drawings, operation and maintenance instructions, and user manuals.  Ability to write clear and concise sections of technical reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively with co-workers and clients. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based word processing and spreadsheet software.  Ability to work on and prioritize a variety of technical assignments and complete work satisfactorily and on schedule.
