Your Role:
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Department Heads, and design teams to gather data and document findings using Tetra Tech facility assessment tools
• Work with PM/PIC to coordinate the overall Facility Assessment effort
• Perform assigned portions of facility assessments
• Assist the PIC/PM with management of Facility Assessment project(s) schedule, scope, deliverable, and internal financial budgets
• As assigned, interface with clients on facility assessment projects, conduct review meetings and presentation of deliverables/reports
• Author and file necessary facility assessment reports/forms at NYSED as required in conjunction with Project Management
• Provide input to Operations to improve and streamline facilities assessment efforts
• Coordinate with the head of Energy Services to facilitate synergies between facility assessments and our efforts to improve/promote energy efficiency for our clients
• Participate in Business Development efforts in conjunction with Business Development Leaders, Project Managers, and the Head of Marketing. This includes some sourcing of RFPs for Building Conditions Surveys, high level proposal input, participation in K-12 conferences and potential client follow-up.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a data drive academic area, including architecture, engineering, or other scientific discipline
• 10+ years of experience in facilities planning or management, with three to five years' experience in public school facilities assessments and planning
• Experience in public K-12 facilities is required; familiarity with New York State codes and regulations is a plus
• Strong teaming skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work closely with clients and their representatives
• Strong communication skills including presentation experience
• An enthusiasm for our educational system and a belief in their mission
• Requires successful evaluation of a motor vehicle record (MVR) check and maintaining a safe driving record
