Position Summary:The Director of Field Services is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing all field operations within the operating unit. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality service, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction across all field teams. The Director will lead a team of field managers and technicians, driving performance, safety, and continuous improvement in alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and direction to field service teams across multiple locations and projects.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve service delivery, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align field operations with overall business objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Lead workforce planning, including hiring, training, and performance management of field personnel.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation for field operations.
- Serve as a key liaison between field teams and internal departments such as Sales, Engineering, and Customer Support.
- Drive adoption of technology and tools to enhance field service capabilities.
- Travel to field locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in field services, operations, or related industries.
- Proven ability to lead large, distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of field service operations, logistics, and customer service best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with operational metrics, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Familiarity with field service management software and digital tools.
- Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification.
