Tetra Tech is searching for a Director of Construction Management. This position is responsible for managing construction of linear projects and renewable energy (gas, biological, wind and/or solar) as well as supporting the Operations Manager with routine office/project functions (e.g., financial, staffing, employee development, etc.). This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on. This position can report to an office in Pittsburgh, PA, Atlanta, GA or Germantown MD.

Your Role:
• Manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
• Ensure that construction plans meet code requirements through coordination with architects and engineers.
• Develop budgets and costs to complete projects on budget.
• Ensure work sites are safe and clean, meeting all health and safety codes, environmental regulations, and building codes.
Qualifications:
• BS degree in geology or similar degree is required.
• Experience with construction of natural gas facilities, pipeline construction, remediation, and renewable energy related projects is desirable.
• Experience of 20+ years in construction and engineering project lifecycle management and manufacturing fabrication facility operations, is desired.
• Contractors Board License and Remediation Specialist License are preferred.
• 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current 8-hour refresher training is preferred. Other OSHA training (10 hour or 30-hour Construction) is desirable.
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency delivering technical and business presentations.
• Successful past performance directing and supervising subcontractors.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing in and executing profitable assignments for clients and building key target client accounts.
