The opportunity

  • Based in Australia (in office, hybrid or remote)
  • Full-time ongoing role
  • Contribute to research, business development, delivery and project management tasks on infrastructure development projects.

 


Key responsibilities

  • Apply technical expertise in infrastructure development across various sectors, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver proposals, bid strategies, and marketing efforts to secure new business opportunities.
  • Lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance, budget control, and client satisfaction.
  • Promote sustainability, gender equality, and inclusive development across all initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Mentor and support the professional growth of less experienced staff within the practice area.
  • Monitor industry trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies.
  • Actively engage in marketing, scoping, and strategic planning to support business growth.

 



Selection criteria

  • A relevant undergraduate degree in infrastructure-related fields (e.g., architecture, engineering, project management, or finance).
  • Prior experience in business development and project management.
  • Understanding of international development, particularly in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, is highly valued.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Service-oriented and motivated, with a positive, solution-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently as part of a team.
  • Strong ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality on sensitive matters.
