The Opportunity:
Tetra Tech's San Antonio office is seeking a Civil Project Engineer/Project Manager with to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated engineer who enjoys both managing projects and rolling up their sleeves to do technical design work. The ideal candidate will bring experience in pipelines, pump stations, drainage, roadway, or related civil infrastructure projects and will help support our growing workload.

Your Role:
As a Civil Project Manager in San Antonio, you will:
Manage civil infrastructure projects (pipelines, pump stations, drainage, and/or roadway).
Provide technical design input while leading project execution.
Prepare and review plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong communication and relationships.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil or Environmental Engineering in Texas, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Experience in technical project execution and in writing and pricing scopes of work for proposals.
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- This position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or more
