Your Role:

Tetra Tech Inc. is seeking a Certified Asbestos Abatement Inspector Lead to conduct site assessments and sampling of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), supervise asbestos-related activities, and ensure compliance with certification and safety requirements. The role requires in-depth knowledge of asbestos regulations and safety protocols to maintain site safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct site assessments and sampling of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).

  • Supervise asbestos abatement activities to ensure safe and compliant operations.

  • Ensure adherence to Missouri Department of Natural Resources certification requirements.

  • Apply knowledge of asbestos regulations and safety standards to all site activities.

  • Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings with the project team.

  • Follow strict asbestos safety protocols to protect workers and the public.

Qualifications:

  • Certification from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources required.

  • Experience in asbestos site assessment, sampling, and supervision.

  • In-depth knowledge of asbestos regulations and safety standards.

  • Technical skills in sampling and identifying asbestos-containing materials.

  • Strong communication skills for reporting and coordination with project teams.

  • Commitment to safety and adherence to asbestos safety protocols.

This position with Tetra Tech is temporary and on an "as needed" basis and will end. It is understood that your employment is to be on an "at will" basis.
