Position Summary:
Responsibilities of this position will include interpretation of federal, state, and local agency regulations. Duties also include analysis, oversight, and review of project work products such as site-specific technical data, calculations, technical reports, construction plans, cost estimates, environmental permit applications, and permit terms and conditions. These responsibilities will be applied to the civil, environmental, and solid waste industries. Some on-site work and travel may be required. The position will also involve building client relations, supporting new business development activities such as proposal preparation, and assisting with cross selling.

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and help direct work for multiple projects and clients.
• Help support strategic initiatives for continued work with key clients and business sectors.
• Support the work of others and maintain quality control on projects and on administrative tasks.
• Work independently to perform project tasks, design, calculations, and reporting to meet the project specific requirements.
• Serve as a point of contact and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Manage multiple smaller company priorities and projects.
• Work at landfills, contaminated sites, and other sites where heavy equipment, contamination, or other health hazards may exist.
• Be able to travel for short duration projects, if needed.
• Assist with proposal development, including preparing technical plans, schedules, and cost estimates, and coordinating efforts with staff and clients.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to think and act critically and strategically.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or above in engineering or related environmental field
• Professional Engineer license or able to acquire within one year of hire
• Experience - 6 to 10 years minimum in a related field such as solid waste management, biogas system design, remediation, site civil or GCCS
• Regulatory experience
• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
• Solid organization and time management skills
• Self-disciplined/motivated individual who also works well in a team environment
• Proficiency with computer usage for document preparation including Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of computer-aided design software; Civil 3D preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
• Solid Waste permitting experience
• General Florida or Southern U.S. experience
• Established client relationships
• Project management experience, including budgets and invoicing
