Overview

Looking for an entry to mid-level IT Specialist to work in the Military IT Department. Will work with State and Federal Employees setting up computer workstations, solving hardware and software issues.

Who May Apply

This position, IT Specialist III - Limited Service (Job Requisition #54260), is open to all State employees and external applicants.  It is a Limited Service position, which is non-tenured and authorized for a specific period of time. Limited Service positions are established for specially funded projects or programs.

Environmental Factors

Work is performed in a standard office setting, but some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available. Work outside of regular work schedule may be expected.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science;

 

OR

 

Associate's degree in computer science or college-level coursework that includes 15 computer science credits AND two (2) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration.

 

OR

 

Four (4) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration.
