Overview

This position is an Enterprise level role. Individuals in this role will be expected to consistently see the BA teams' actions in terms of supporting and achieving the Agency's' longer-term goals. Enterprise BAs must demonstrate a mindset that reaches beyond any given project to a greater understanding of how a single project or initiative impacts the Agency Enterprise, and as a result, other concurrent and future project efforts. This will include identifying and communicating risks and issues in relation to the success of the Enterprise to Agency Executives, management and project teams.

 

A BA IV must foster a productive, collaborative team environment by way of aiding and supporting other BAs and setting the example; this individual will be expected to guide, influence and assist peers and project level BAs and complete the majority of tasks using their own judgment. As such, this individual will be expected to ensure integrity, quality, and adherence to SoV best practice. 

 

This position will be expected to execute everyday project tasks (likely on more than 1 project at a time), as well as coach/mentor, and supervise junior BAs. This position must also contribute and actively participate in the continuous improvement of Business Analysis methodology and practices of the ADS EPMO as required by Senior BA Leadership.

Environmental Factors

Duties are performed largely in a standard office setting. The role involves intensive interaction with departmental officials who may advocate strongly for their programs. Implementation of recommendations may be difficult because of competing interests and limited resources. Rapid response in the face of tight deadlines may be necessary. Evening and weekend duty, although rare, may be anticipated.

Minimum Qualifications

Eight (8) years or more of Business Analysis experience at a professional level.

Preferred Qualifications

CCBA/CBAP certification.

Bachelor's degree or higher in an IT-related subject.
