Overview

The Green Mountain Care Board (GMCB) is seeking short-term support to assist with statewide efforts to meet new federal and state accessibility standards for public-facing materials. In response to updated digital accessibility requirements (see the State of Vermont Universal Digital Accessibility guidance), GMCB will conduct a comprehensive review and update of its public documents to ensure full compliance.

 

This position will be responsible for inspecting, cataloging, and organizing public-facing documents to support the Board's compliance initiatives. The role is essential in maintaining operational continuity, meeting mandated timelines, and ensuring the GMCB fulfills its legal and ethical obligations, while allowing core staff to remain focused on ongoing regulatory and operational priorities.

Who May Apply

This position, Administrative Services Technician IV - Temporary (Job Requisition #53649), is open to all State employees and external applicants. This is a temporary position. Temporary work is typically for variable hours and is not expected to be full-time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.

Environmental Factors

Work is performed in a standard office setting.

Minimum Qualifications

One (1) year or more of college level study in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field.

OR

High school graduation or equivalent AND one (1) year or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization.

OR

One (1) year or more as an Administrative Services Technician III with the State of Vermont.

Special Requirements

For some positions experience working with the VISION system (VISION is the State of Vermont PeopleSoft financial management system) may be required.
