• Translate business requirements into technical design documents across a multi-tier financial services wealth platform
• Participate in requirement analysis and support requirement gathering activities
• Support technical designs through the development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with platform standards
• Present and defend designs at architecture forums and provide peer reviews of design documentation
• Apply deep technical knowledge to solve complex problems and propose innovative solutions
• Champion the adoption of new technologies, engineering practices and platform improvements
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, development, QA and architecture teams
• Strong leadership and management skills

• Strong problem-solving ability with a bias towards innovative, forward-looking solutions
• 7+ years' experience in software development
• 2+ years' experience in software design/technical architecture
• Strong experience with C#, .NET (Core and Framework), VC++ and related Microsoft platform technologies within a multi-tier web application
• Strong MS SQL Server Enterprise experience (2022/2025), RDBMS design, and multi-tenant database architecture
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, IoC (dependency injection), and object-oriented design
• Experience with UML and modelling techniques
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, Git/GitHub, artifact management and release tooling
• Experience with agent-based deployment tooling and managing package-based deployments across on-premise and cloud environments
• Experience with Windows Server Enterprise deployment and configuration across multi-environment estates
• Experience in infrastructure-as-code or scripted environment provisioning, with understanding of cloud-native deployment patterns (Azure or AWS)
• Experience with Angular front-end architecture and RESTful API layer design connecting to .NET back-end services
• Experience within wealth management, investment management, or a similarly regulated financial services sector
• Broader solution architecture experience, including cross-system integration design and non-functional requirements (performance, availability, security)
• Experience refactoring legacy systems
• Experience with OpenAPI / Swagger specifications and API versioning strategies
• Experience with .NET microservices and containerised deployment patterns
• Knowledge of regulatory transaction reporting requirements, suitability and appropriateness assessment flows, and audit trail architecture within a financial services context
• Experience designing systems for data residency compliance, GDPR-aligned data architecture, and regulatory outsourcing and cloud requirements
• Familiarity with cross-border service delivery architecture for internationally distributed financial services platforms
• Experience using Jira for project and issue tracking, and SharePoint for technical documentation management and team collaboration
