What You Will Get To Do:

• Contribute as a senior engineer within a cross-functional delivery team focused on integration solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain integration components supporting registry, data, and regulatory reporting flows.
• Apply and promote SS&C coding standards, best practices, and engineering discipline.
• Ensure high-quality outcomes by meeting or exceeding unit and integration testing standards.
• Collaborate with BAs, QAs, Architects, and stakeholders to refine requirements and user stories.
• Investigate complex technical issues using a microservices-focused approach and escalate appropriately.
• Support application environments across Windows and Linux platforms.
• Work with APIs, messaging, file transfer, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development, deployment, and operational practices.
• Participate in all team ceremonies including planning, demos, and retrospectives.

What You Will Bring:

• Strong experience as a Software Engineer working on enterprise integration solutions.
• Solid background in Unix scripting and automation.
• Hands-on experience with data integration, ETL tools, and enterprise data stores.
• Experience working with APIs, middleware, and service-to-service integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, routing, firewalls, and certificates.
• Experience supporting application servers such as IIS, JBoss, and Apache.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Prior Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with ETL and integration platforms such as DataStage and Informatica.
• Exposure to enterprise scheduling and workload automation tools such as Control-M.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tooling including Elastic and Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of registry systems, financial services integrations, or superannuation platforms is desirable.
• Experience working in regulated, large-scale enterprise environments.
