SS&C - Senior Business Process Automation Consultant

Location – Johannesburg (Hybrid working on offer)

The Opportunity

SS&C's presence across our South Africa organisations are growing in line with business demand. Therefore, we are seeking a Senior Business Process Automation Consultant who can assist us in capitalising on a significant opportunity to deepen the use and expand the benefits that are available to our customers of SS&C's Chorus and Blue Prism platforms.

The opportunity will also be able to build upon SS&C's investment in product enhancement including cloud enablement and integration that allows us to provide a best-in-class array of digital transformation technologies.

In this position your core responsibilities will involve:

  • Understanding customer needs, and goals in order to recommend optimal process solutions.
  • Developing a deep understanding of SS&C's intelligent automation capability, and being able to engage in in-depth functional and technical conversations with customers.
  • Responsibility for the modelling of processes and production of design and solution documentation.
  • Being accountable for delivery of tasks assigned as part of an overall delivery project.
  • Working closely with the EMEA delivery, account management and sales teams to ensure successful delivery of SA opportunities and maintain awareness of wider business
  • Analysing and documenting a customer's business requirements in terms of business functions and processes, translating this information into ‘To be' specifications and designs in preparation for the development and delivery of Chorus solutions.
  • Configuring processes and automation components in the Chorus BPM design studio.
  • Performing unit and integration testing to provide support for customer UAT, support and trouble-shooting of potential issues.
  • Supporting Discovery and pre-sales initiatives when required.
  • Participating in customer workshops to understand requirements and perform collaborative design sessions.

Must-Have Experience & Knowledge

  • Strong experience in Process Design, Analysis, Modelling and Optimisation.
  • Financial Services Industry experience.
  • Experience in the use of Process Modelling tools and use of Business Process Modelling Notation.
  • Experience with Business Process Management systems and understanding of underlying technologies.
  • Strong relationship building, collaboration and consulting skills from a client facing perspective.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert user of MS-Office tools and BPMN2 would be an advantage.
