RCI Solutions Consultant

Location: Remote US

Get To Know The Team: 

The Risk and Compliance Intelligence (RCI) Solutions Consultant is responsible for working with our Wealth and Investment Technology (WIT) clients and prospects to understand their unique needs and to recommend specific solutions from RCI that will help them achieve their goals.   The Solutions Consultant will work with the sales organization during all stages of the sales cycle including pre-sale and during the implementation process.  The consultant will also work with existing clients helping them optimize the value they receive from a relationship with SS&C through understanding their evolving needs and highlighting new RCI capabilities.  The Solutions Consultant drives solution optimization discussions, dialogue to improve client utilization, and helps introduce best-practices for our most strategic clients, with a goal to enable the attainment of client business objectives throughout the engagement, sales, and client service cycle. This role will work closely with other Solutions Consultants who specialize in other products that are part of the overall WIT platform.

What You Will Get To Do: 

  • Assist clients and prospects with optimizing the value of RCI
  • Communicate best practices to help clients achieve their strategic goals
  • Work closely with our Sales Executives to support opportunities through deep product/platform expertise and industry knowledge
  • Work closely with service and implementation teams on current client relationships by providing deep product/platform expertise and client needs
  • Utilize a consultative approach to present key functional & technical consultancy and best practice information to prospects and clients
  • Build relationships with prospective, new and strategic clients; utilizes effective communication to drive proactive and consultative discussions with key clients
  • Translate complex client business models & work flows
  • Provide detailed, effective solutions to ensure clients can operate in an efficient manner
  • Communicates our operational processes, platform features & total client experience to both internal and external sources
  • Act as a liaison between our prospects/clients and the product group
  • Assist Sales Executives and lead product demonstrations & technical discussions via web, conference call or onsite meetings as required to close new business or enhance current client relationships
  • Propose best practices, configuration consultation and issue resolution guidance based on understanding of clients desired results
  • Orchestrate senior level involvement with assigned accounts as needed
  • Assist internal customers with solutions, techniques and common technical & functional questions
  • Work closely with other Solutions Consultants on how to better position and integrate platform products

What You Will Bring: 

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution in a business related field.
  • 7-10 industry related experience, successful experience as Pre-Sales (or Sales Support) from a provider of complex software solutions.
  • At least 3+ years experience working for a broker-dealer or investment advisor in back-office, trade settlements and operations is a must.
  • Self-starter with strong project management skills and can work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience in compliance and trade surveillance is a bonus.

  • Fluent in English with strong verbal, written, presentation and customer relationship-building skills. Experience in presenting solutions and being able to conceptualize the value of an offering in the context of a prospect or potential user.
  • Experience with data, data schema and ETL processes is a nice to have.
  • Ability to travel (up to 50%).
  • Previous experience of Advent/Black Diamond's products a plus.
