Job Description

The Client Relationship Manager role will be based out of our Sydney or Melbourne office and has the overall responsibility to lead growth activities covering the strategic and commercial management of existing client relationships.

This role is focused on a range of products and services, including:

  • A unit registry platform focused on enabling fund managers and transfer agencies.

  • An enterprise digital platform for investors

  • Fund administration services.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop personal relationships with key and senior client contacts internally and externally.

  • Ensure a detailed understanding of our client's and prospects business, products, strategy, requirements and understand the impact on SS&C's service offering.

  • Ability to engage effectively at the C-suite level with SS&C clients, demonstrating deep industry knowledge to build credibility and executive gravitas.

  • Liaise with Leads and Heads of internal business areas to monitor and ensure timely and quality service provided.

  • Achieve Year on Year Growth and individuals / team sales targets through understanding the financial drivers of stakeholders.

  • Drive and lead capability workshops with clients through a deep understanding of SS&C's products, services, and technologies and how these can add value to a client's business.

  • Lead all commercial and contractual relationships for clients.

  • Work with our clients and SS&C teams to always ensure customer satisfaction and communicate with internal stakeholders and Directors of any potential areas of concern.

  • Senior point of contact for escalations and owns the resolution process from beginning to end.

  • Drive process improvement and change through awareness of all clients change requests/projects and how they fit into their strategic roadmap of change.

  • Responsible for provision of relevant information to client contacts and internal stakeholders in a timely manner and in an appropriate format.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Financial Services regulatory environment.

  • A good understanding of the client service model, business strategy, structure, and product offering.

  • Good verbal reasoning and numeric skills.

Qualifications & Prior knowledge:
  • Proven financial and numerical skills are a must and a deep understanding of P&L and revenue forecasting.

  • Understanding of the fund management industry in Australia and fount, middle and back-office operations

  • Detailed knowledge of Transfer Agency and Fund Administration including Fund Accounting and associated services for fund managers

  • 5+ Year's client relationship management experience.
