Job Title: Data Onboarding Specialist

SS&C is seeking a Data Onboarding Specialist to join the Operational Services team based in Hyderabad. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in financial technology or a related discipline, who can deliver high‑quality service to clients across the alternatives market. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong analytical capability, and a solid understanding of investment operations within the alternatives space.
In this role, you will support client implementation initiatives by loading, processing, and validating historical static, transactional, and pricing data from various external sources into SS&C platforms. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to confirm requirements, execute onboarding workflows, and deliver project milestones across multiple concurrent client engagements.

What You Will Get To Do:
Manage and execute multiple client‑facing onboarding projects concurrently across a diverse global client base.
Provide clear, concise, and timely communication of project status, issues, and deliverables to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Perform the extraction, transformation, and loading of historical data from various internal systems and external platforms to support client implementations.
Conduct detailed validation, correction, and reconciliation of processed data across SS&C's investment accounting platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Partner with R&D and product teams to support process optimization initiatives, improve data onboarding methodologies, and enhance overall workflow efficiency.
What You Will Bring:
Able to communicate technical details to a range of stakeholders with varying degrees of technical ability
Able to develop productive relationships with stakeholders both internal and external
Analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Strong emphasis on quality, professionalism, and excellence
Able to work in various shifts as required
Good with numbers
Attention to detail
3-6 years' experience in financial or technology setting
Preferred exposure or working knowledge on SQL / Python
Advanced Microsoft Excel with preferred or working knowledge of VBA and Macro Building
Prior exposure in implementation capacity and onboarding data in Portfolio Management Software
