What You Will Get To Do: 

  • Collaborate face to face with multiple departments across the organization, including other National Investment Consultants, National Accounts representatives, Marketing, Research and Trading Teams, Product Specialists, Business Intelligence and other subject matter experts as needed.
  • Take and make phone calls, craft tailored emails, help prepare NICs for territory travel and become an expert with our systems and products.
  • Meet sales activity metrics (Calls, conference calls, meetings, follow-ups, campaign execution).
  • Track results and communicate the impact of their sales efforts in a performance-driven, goal-oriented sales culture.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of the entire suite of ALPS products and be able to present these solutions in person, over the phone and digitally.   
  • Participate in office collaboration and limited travel.
  • Raise assets, develop existing relationships, and uncover new relationships and raising sales meaningfully within the territory.
  • Cover Wirehouses and advisors with a focus on growth within the RIA segment.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 1-3 years in the investment industry.
  • Working knowledge of ETFs, mutual funds, and portfolio construction concepts preferred.
  • Familiarity with ETF structure, liquidity, and trading mechanics (primary vs. secondary market) a plus.
  • Excellent writing, quantitative, and communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
  • The individual must balance the energy of independent self-starter with the collaborative capability of a team player, and be able to work on multiple sales campaigns delivering high-quality work and sales results.
  • Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities over time, as appropriate.
  • A positive attitude and a high level of professionalism are essential.
  • The position requires extensive use of internal and external systems and databases, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with SalesfForce is a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously; effectively handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately.
  • Willingness to ask questions, challenge ideas and offer feedback collected from meetings and advisor conversations.
  • Embrace data and business intelligence designed to help target the right opportunities and deliver effective results.
  • Partner with External Sales to develop territory business plans and campaign execution.
  • Proactively conduct outbound calls and follow-ups with financial advisors to support sales initiatives.
  • Coordinate and track advisor meetings, roadshows, and virtual events.
  • Prepare pre- and post-meeting materials, call notes, and follow-up actions.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary. Must be able to organize a strong travel schedule with elite advisors and teams.
  • Series 7 and 63 licensed preferred or ability to obtain within two months.
