What You Will Get to Do:           

The Analyst Engineer contributes to the design, development, and support of technology solutions by collaborating with business and technology teams, demonstrating technical curiosity, attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn across the software development lifecycle.

  • Assist in the analysis of Tech and Business processes to support end users in Production. 
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving system issues with direction from senior team members.
  • Contribute to core Prod Support activities such incident, problem and change management.
  • Participate in on-call, proactive maintenance, change implementation, DR/BCP work, outside ordinary business hours.
  • Participate in system testing and debugging, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, business analysts, and project managers as required to help resolve known problem records.
  • Contribute to documentation of technical specifications, procedures, and solutions.
  • Maintain and follow best practices for version control, documentation, and code quality.
  • Engage in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments as appropriate.

What You Will Bring:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • 1–3 years of experience in a technology or application development/support role.
  • Specializing in cloud and integration technology
  • Foundational experience in SQL and scripting languages.
  • Exposure to SDLC methodologies, with a willingness to work in Agile environments.
  • Basic understanding or exposure to financial services or superannuation is desirable.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and debugging in production environment to restore service rapidly.
  • Cloud knowledge on AWS and experience in working on cloud environment is also a plus.
  • Knowledge in BMC Control-M is a plus.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD process is preferrable (Jenkins, Splunk, ELK, Ansible, GitHub).
  • ITIL knowledge is also a plus.
  • Passion for learning and developing technical and business domain expertise.
