Your Role:

The Welder will work closely with the Team Leader to create welds in support of rebuilding of components.  This position is responsible for the throughput and quality of the product which is measured to a standard. 

About the Job: Job Responsibilities & Essential Duties

  • Adheres to all safety guidelines, and uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) preventing incidents or injury to self or others.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area for safe operation as well as customer presentation.
  • Sets up welding equipment.  
  • Operates equipment to perform the necessary welds.
  • Performs inspection to ensure that weld meets a quality standard.  
  • Creates usable finished product, which meets specification within the standard time allowed following all prescribed work instructions.
  • Performs work according to the highest quality standards to produce a superior end product, meeting or exceeding customer expectation.


Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of mig, tig and stick welding processes.
  • Knowledge of parts reusability.  Demonstrates the ability to deliver parts ready for assembly.
  • Ability to make judgments on parts restoration based on a set of predetermined criteria.
  • Ability to read a blueprint and find a basic dimension.


Education Requirements

  High School diploma or GED preferred


Experience Requirements

One to five years of experience in Welding
