What You'll Do:
- Be a Technical Problem Solver
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems on large industrial equipment
Support systems utilizing diesel and/or natural gas generators (experience strongly preferred)
Perform electrical testing including voltage, current, insulation resistance, continuity, and related diagnostics
Conduct root-cause analysis and support corrective actions to improve reliability and performance
Design, Interpret & Improve Electrical Systems
Read, interpret, and create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Work with control panels, sensors, relays, breakers, and power distribution systems
Support continuous improvement efforts related to electrical design, safety, and reliability
Work Hands-On with Controls & Equipment
Support and troubleshoot generator controllers, with specific experience on Basler and ComAp platforms
Assist with commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical and power generation systems
Provide field support during installation, troubleshooting, and system validation
Contribute to Product Development & Cross-Functional Success
Contribute to research and development activities for next-generation products
Collaborate with sales, quality, and production teams to support production goals and future product launches
Communicate technical specifications, drawings, and requirements clearly to production teams
Provide technical support and hands-on training to production staff as needed
Support a Safety-First, Ownership Culture
Follow all safety standards and promote safe work practices in all engineering and production activities
Take ownership of projects from concept through execution
Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, manufacturing, service, and quality teams
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
3+ Years experience in an Electrical Engineer position
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in industrial electrical systems
Ability to read, interpret, and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Hands-on experience performing electrical testing and supporting field or production environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with diesel and/or natural gas generator systems
Hands-on experience with Basler and ComAp generator controllers
Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
Experience supporting commissioning, R&D, or new product development
Work Environment:
This role includes a mix of office, manufacturing, and field-based work. Candidates must be comfortable working around industrial equipment and committed to following all safety and PPE requirements.
