What You'll Do

As a Corporate Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, providing insights for strategic decision-making, and ensuring financial stability for our organization. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and analyze general ledger journal entries, monthly financial statements, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Generate monthly financial reports and assist with budget preparation.
  • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and customer account reconciliation.
  • Reconcile petty cash fund and maintain fixed asset schedules.
  • Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Coordinate implementation of accounting systems and procedures to drive efficiency.
  • Support annual external audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Review accounting operations and recommend process improvements.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.


What You Bring

As an employee-owner, you must have a teammate mentality and strong interpersonal skills. An employee-owner is proactive, upholds commitments, and is continually learning. Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. CPA or CMA certification (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a staff accountant or similar role, preferably in manufacturing or related industry.
  • In-depth understanding of GAAP and proficiency in financial software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionally manage sensitive information.
  • Familiarity with The Great Game of Business and manufacturing cost accounting.
