Description
What you will do: The Engineering Manager will lead the electronics engineering team with responsibilities over all product development, product launch, and product and process engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and launch product using APQP methodologies.
- Reverse engineer and conduct product feasibility studies.
- Develop product specifications and aid the supply chain team in sourcing efforts.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Engineering team, setting clear goals and objectives.
- Work closely with other departments, including operations, supply chain, quality, and sales, to align efforts with overall business objectives.
- Manage progress and timeliness of projects.
- Review and develop reports to ensure projects are on schedule and within departmental budget while meeting customer requirements.
- Provide mentoring and training for departmental associates.
- Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations to ensure well-qualified and motivated associates.
- Meet and build relationships with associates, customers, suppliers, and other guests of the Company.
Qualifications/Skills Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- At least 5 years of related experience required.
- Extensive technical knowledge of engineering and product development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and implement solutions.
- Preferred APQP or AIAG experience
- Preferred electronics or remanufacturing experience
- Preferred precision agriculture experience
