Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis. SSAG is hiring for a full-time NC2/NC3 Senior Technical Analyst at Headquarters U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), Offutt Air Force Base (AFB), Nebraska (NE).

Responsibilities

The NC2/NC3 Senior Technical Analyst provides advanced technical and analytical expertise in support of Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) and Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) modernization activities across U.S. Strategic Command. The analyst conducts detailed assessments of mission needs, emerging technologies, operational concepts, and system‑of‑systems interactions to inform capability development and modernization planning. This includes producing clear, analytically rigorous reports, operational insights, and briefings that support government decision‑making and modernization prioritization.

The analyst contributes to NC2/NC3 studies by evaluating technical approaches, reviewing requirements, identifying dependencies and risks, and ensuring analytical findings are aligned with mission objectives. The role requires substantial coordination with USSTRATCOM directorates, Combatant Commands, and partner organizations to integrate technical analyses into broader enterprise modernization efforts. The analyst also mentors junior team members, reinforcing best practices in analytical methods, workflow discipline, and quality assurance. Through these contributions, the analyst ensures all products meet stringent mission, technical, and security standards while supporting effective modernization planning.
