  • Minimum twelve (12) years of demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to engineering related to TE&I configuration management of C5ISR systems


Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated senior-level Engineering Technician to provide critical Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) / Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) support for NAVSEA's Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) portfolio in Dahlgren, VA.

For this critical work, we are looking for a proactive senior engineer to provide expertise in one or more of the following specific areas: Integrated Topside Design (ITD); EMP; E3; EMI; EMC; E3 Computational Modeling; EMP Testing and PCI shipboard testing; EMP Modeling and Simulation; EMC Shipboard Electromagnetic Compatibility; EMC Acquisition Electromagnetic Compatibility; EMI problem investigation, characterization, and quantification; E3 instructions, standards, policies, and procedures; EMC document review; EMC and RADHAZ certification; EMC SHIPMAIN technical assessments; EMC acquisition engineering and EMI analysis; EMI planned maintenance systems; USN Optimized Fleet Response Plan (O-FRP); EMI fix engineering; technical program support; CASREP EMI investigations; and EMI characterization and quantification; RF engineering, logistics documentation, and scheduling support; and Radar Absorbent Material (RAM) EMI mitigation for removal, installation, and fabrication.

You must have the ability to work from NSWC Dahlgren 4-5 days per week on average.
