Responsibilities
Support is provided to Product Office leadership across all business, financial, contract, logistics, and technical management activities associated with the Army's Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) integration with the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) System. This includes coordination with PMO contracts, budget, acquisition, and systems engineering teams to develop independent cost estimates, contract requirement packages, acquisition strategies, and technical solutions. Additionally, coordination with industry OEM counterparts—covering contracts, program management, engineering, and logistics—is required to track and manage the overall status of Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) components. The role also entails representing Product Office leadership in the absence of government leads and supporting the development of strategic internal and external communications. This includes weekly Situation Reports, Command and Staff updates, and responses to internal and external taskers. Responsibilities extend to managing internal and external coordination and strategic communication with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and domestic partners, as well as internal PMO teams. The role includes organizing Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), meetings, and working groups; developing briefings, agendas, minutes, and action items; and coordinating domestic and foreign disclosure requests to ensure proper security markings on materials. Additionally, maintaining historical archives to preserve institutional knowledge, assessing long-term factors that may affect programmatic or technical progress, and conducting periodic reviews to monitor project status, milestones, risks, and necessary corrective actions are critical components of the position. Other duties may be assigned as required.
