We don't expect you to come in with DoD Acquistion expertise but we do expect you to consistently demonstrate strong attributes to quickly build competencies and provide the highest quality products and services to the APM. We look for traits such as how you solve problems when you're stuck. Do you look for creative ways to find solutions? Do you seek out references and teach yourself how to do something new? You will be expected to provide programmatic and technical advice, recommendations, and solutions for emerging program issues and topics. You will develop and update SEWIP programmatic and technical briefings, acquisition documentation, and other Stakeholder deliverables; support the development and update of budget documentation (such as 7300s and Task Planning Sheets), product line schedules, and fielding plans; capture program status and meeting summaries; act as representative for SEWIP Block 2 APM or PM at meetings when needed; report on SEWIP status, significant events, or other matters; and maintain a document repository of SEWIP program documentation. You will be expected to understand and communicate effectively with technical Subject Matter Experts, Principal Assistant Program Managers (PAPMs), and other APMs to provide coherent, high quality program briefings for senior leadership.

A hybrid work environment is allowed, but you must have the ability to regularly work on-site in DC. Travel is expected 3-4 days per month for this position.

At SPA, we strive to deliver a robust total compensation package that will attract and retain top talent.  Elements of the compensation package include competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.
