Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- At least 15 years of experience including experience as a radar project manager
- Must hold and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in a technical field
- NSWC Crane experience
- SPQ-9B radar experience
Responsibilities
You will serve as a part-time, highly qualified adviser providing direct support to the Future X-Band Radar (FXR) Program within the Navy's Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors and Lasers Directorate's (PEO IWS 2.0). You will be empowered to lead and act on behalf of the program's Working Group Leads ensuring the appropriate Systems Engineering and Project Management processes and discipline is applied across the program. You will join a high performing Government and contractor team regularly working with stakeholders from industry, the PEO, Warfare Centers, Navy Labs and University Affiliated Research Centers on complex issues facing the program. You can expect to work on a SEP, IRS, and a variety of other radar development, integration and acquisition documents and tasks.
Remote work is allowed in this position. You must have the ability to occasionally travel domestically to various locations not to exceed 5 days per month several times per year.
