The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of SPA's Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. We utilize mission-proven, data-driven advisory tools and capabilities. We provide highly technical support to ensure the government acquires cutting edge technology necessary for our National Defense. Our portfolio includes the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Come where you will be part of our high-caliber team! SPA has an immediate need for a Logistics/Warehouse Specialist. Responsibilities Key duties associated witht his role include but are not limited to the following: Asset Management Oversight: Lead and manage Government property for MID, ensuring accurate and complete asset management by creating, implementing, and enforcing the Asset Management (AM) Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Constantly reviewing and utilize SAP and the Logistics, Equipment, and Deployment Request as the repository for asset tracking throughout their lifecycle. Inventory Control: Oversee inventory control of accountable and capitalized MID property located at Head Quarters and deployed assets. Conduct periodic inventory sampling, annual reviews of deployed property, and maintain accurate inventory records in accordance with regulations. Property Transfer Management: Document and manage the temporary or permanent transfer of Government property using the appropriate forms and procedures. Ensure all transfers accurately recorded in the tracking systems, and the necessary documentation is retained in compliance with guidelines. Property Disposal: Oversee the disposal of Government property following established Property Turn-In (PTI) procedures and security policies for equipment. Coordinate with the Associate Property Management Officers to make informed decisions on disposition requests and maintain records for all items subject to disposal. Warehouse Operations Leadership: Manage and operate MID warehouse facilities by developing and maintaining a Warehouse Operations SOP. Ensure compliance with Commercial Logistics Management Tools, particularly SAP, and manage all aspects of material handling, shipping, and receiving in support of activities. Team Coordination and Safety Compliance: Ensure all warehouse personnel are properly training in the use of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and adhere to OSHA requirements and warehouse safety standards. Oversee the proper operation of Government-provided delivery vehicles and coordinate closely with the Transportation Management Office and facility personnel for efficient logistics operations. Qualifications Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship required Active TS/SCI with Poly Minimum of 4 years relevant experience with a focus on logistics or asset management Experience working within the Intelligence Community Strong written and verbal communication skills Reports to Chantilly up to full-time, based upon the needs of the client Desired Qualifications: Familiarity with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), Department of Defense (DoD), or Intelligence Community (IC) structure, processes, and procedures DoD logistics background or equivalent experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and for managing data, reports, and collaborative workflows Forklift operator certification
