SPA's Joint Defense Support Group has a diverse portfolio encompassing the US Air Force, US Marine Corps, US Army, the US Surface Navy, and the Navy Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education Enterprise. Technical analysts and engineers provide tailored program management for life-cycle systems engineering and logistics support, rapid capabilities development and fielding, cyber warfare operations, nuclear command, control and communications, and design, production, and maintenance support. Military Operations analysts provide operational and decision support to advanced studies, wargame development, requirements development, materiel operations, supply strategies, program integration, and fleet readiness. SPA has a near need for an experienced computer modeler to produce quantitative analysis of CBRN effects to support our customer in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities The CWMD Model Programmer uses advanced programming languages to model CBRN effects applied to air operations. The CMP will develop frameworks for incorporating scientific data, testing results, and other inputs. Model outputs will characterize environmental factors and operational risk to personnel and operations. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 7 years' experience with military operations analysis and/or CWMD modeling Advanced proficiency in using and applying Python, C++, and Visual Basic within DoD analytic environments Recent experience with AF and DoD counterproliferation and CWMD programs Top Secret clearance with SCI and sub-compartment eligibility Desired Qualifications 10 years' experience conducting CWMD / CBRN operational analysis 5 years' experience within DTRA or Service CWMD staff organization
