Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience in network development, network security, cybersecurity, and/or enterprise systems
- First-hand experience with research and/or development of decentralized services and networked software systems
- Experience with classified enterprise network security, VPNs, Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS), Multi-Level Security (MLS) systems, and encryption/COMSEC devices
- Substantial experience with decentralized software services across a wide variety of transport types and levels of service
- Substantial experience with system and network architecture, including performance and scalability assessment, design, and testing
- Substantial experience with decentralized software services, federated software services, service discovery, and peer-to-peer networks
- Experience with tunable data transport, dynamic networking and traffic engineering, software-defined network, and/or multipath transport agnostic service distribution
- Experience developing and deploying large geographic scale enterprise and/or expeditionary networks
- Experience with the engineering of enterprise networks and services such as JWICS, SIPRNet
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Able to work fully onsite based on client needs

Responsibilities
The candidate will support the Advanced Resilience portfolio in the area of next-generation classified network development for enterprise-scale computing and operational functions. Provide expert technical advice and guidance to the government on all aspects of enhancing resilience and survivability against sophisticated cyber and physical threats. Support development of secure, variable-trust networks of decentralized services with novel interaction models, at enterprise scale across a wide variety of transport types and levels of service. Responsible for coordinating meetings, assessing performer technical progress, projecting performer outcomes, and ensuring that project management best practices are followed by performers. Prepare and deliver technical reports, briefings, and presentations to government officials and technical stakeholders. Apply technical expertise and experience in network engineering of DoD classified networks, notably the design, implementation, operations, and maintenance of enterprise, tactical, or expeditionary communications networks. Evaluate emerging technologies, monitor development of novel solutions, and contribute to the development of resilient classified networks, services, endpoints, and architectures.
