As a SONIC Drive-In General Manager, you are responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the Drive-In to provide quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner so that guests will have an enjoyable experience at the Sonic Drive-In. As the highest management position within the Drive-In, you are accountable for the Drive-In and its operations. Responsibilities include:br /br /emsp;emsp;bull;nbsp;nbsp;Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/ Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhopsbr /emsp;emsp;bull;nbsp;nbsp;Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of food service meet br / operational standardsbr /emsp;emsp;bull;nbsp;nbsp;Adheres to and monitors employee compliance of the drive-in employee handbook, policies and practicesbr /emsp;emsp;bull;nbsp;nbsp;Performs restaurant opening and/or closing dutiesbr /emsp;emsp;bull;nbsp;nbsp;Prepares employee work schedules; monitors and makes appropriate adjustments to restaurant staffing levelsbr /emsp;emsp;bull;nbsp;nbsp;Monitors and maintains restaurant inventory levels. Places orders for food, paper and other supplies within br / cost control proceduresbr /emsp;emsp;bull;nbsp;nbsp;Completes and maintains all drive-in restaurant employment related records and payroll recordsbr /emsp;emsp;bull;nbsp;nbsp;Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all br / times.br /emsp;emsp;bull;nbsp;nbsp;Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests. Reports guest complaints to immediate supervisor and br / assists in resolving such complaintsbr /emsp;emsp;bull;nbsp;nbsp;Interview and hire restaurant crew and management team members to achieve proper staffing levelsbr /emsp;emsp;bull;nbsp;nbsp;Prepare all necessary operational reports. Develop appropriate action plans to resolve unfavorable financial br / and/or sales trendsbr /emsp;emsp;bull;nbsp;nbsp;Develop and implement a marketing planbr /br /Additional General Manager Requirements:br /br /emsp;emsp;bull;nbsp;nbsp;High school diploma or equivalent required.
