General Manager - SIG SAUER - Europe Commercial Business
This position is not based in the United States it is located in Europe

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the P&L activities for all commercial business development and sales throughout Europe, including firearms, optics, ammunition, air guns, and related equipment and accessories. The role would entail expanding and managing all of Sig Sauer's commercial activities in Europe, as a separate business unit. Depending on the rate of expansion, the MD would be managing an organization with more than ten full time contributors. The Europe commercial business unit would enhance and expand the marketing and sales organization, identify, and develop new markets and expand existing market, expand, and manage distribution and other logistics, enhance and manage relationships with distributors, retailers and end-users, and oversee regulatory affairs and requirements. The European commercial business organization would operate as a separate business unit and would be supported by and work closely with SIG SAUER's and its affiliates' U.S. and international commercial business operations.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support SIG SAUER in the development and execution of European portions of the SIG SAUER Commercial Sales Plan.
• Meet or exceed all goals and objectives related to European Commercial Business.
• Develop and sustain strong partner, distributor, retailer, and end-user customer relationships at all levels in the commercial area integral to the success of SIG SAUER's European Commercial business.
• Work closely with SIG SAUER's enablers to develop market insight on requirements, sales strategy, timing, and vehicle choices to ensure successful execution of all plans.
• Analyze, develop, and lead the development of sales solutions for developing new markets and expanding existing markets, in accordance with SIG SAUER's business development and sales objectives and product line strategies.
• Lead the establishment, communication, and management of European sales and business development priorities, focus areas and goals.
• Ensure adherence to SIG SAUER's business development and sales policies and processes. Document and share best practices across the company where appropriate.

Education/Experience & Skills:
• An undergraduate degree is required.
• Experienced and proven P&L professional with responsibilities for Business Development and Sales leadership with a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated, relevant experience in the areas of firearms, ammunition, optics, suppressors, air guns or related industry area.
• Must be proven leader in building, motivating, and managing teams to achieve and exceed all sales goals.
• Experience working internationally with keen understanding of the European commercial markets.
• Must have an experience-based understanding of the various European markets, customer requirements and business development and sales strategies.
• An exceptional communicator, who can confidently interact with different departments such as Executive Management, Operations, Sales, Product Management,     Marketing and European customers at all levels.
• Must be persuasive, have excellent people skills, be able to motivate and build strategic partnerships.
• Must be an initiative-taker, hands-on, "roll-up-the-sleeves" leader with strong analytical and critical thinking skills who can collaborate with people at all levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and analytical skills.

Working Conditions:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
• Travel over 75%
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
