Human Resources Clerk

2pm-10pm Monday-Friday

Hours and shifts can vary due to business needs

What you'll do

  • Perform administrative, confidential recording of partners' vaccination status.  Records will be maintained in the Workday Human Capital Management System
  • Perform administrative, confidential recording of partners' Covid-19 test results.  Records will be maintained in Workday.  Communicate with partners about scheduling and/or quarantine implications based on test result.  Assist in completing contact tracing with partners.
  • Follow HIPPA requirements and employment laws; maintain strict confidentiality regarding personal and medical information.
  • Provide customer service and trouble shoot issues to resolve partner questions related to COVID processes and procedures.
  • This role will need to adhere to all PPE (personal protective equipment) requirements of Schreiber Foods, including but not limited to wearing a face covering while in the workplace.
  • Assist with other HR duties as needed
  • Maintains personnel records and reports
  • Maintains Affirmative Action Logs and assists in the hiring process
  • Administers hourly wage increases
  • Maintains vacation and personal day records
  • Conducts new partner orientation
  • Administers job bidding/Career Opportunity system
  • Become proficient in Workday, a Human Capital Management System 1 week after filling the role.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while managing partner records in an accurate, confidential manner.
  • Maintains files on performance evaluations and notifies TAs/TLs when due
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
  • Processes status change forms
  • Maintains contact with Home Office, Finance, Payroll and Leadership partners to investigate discrepancies and provide information in non-routine situations
  • Maintains all personnel files and other record keeping such as I-9, random drug screens, training, certifications, PC Compliance, etc.
  • Types memos, correspondence, reports and other documents as requested
  • Maintain data in Workday
  • Maintains hourly partners' schedules in KRONOS
  • Maintains Home Office Turnover database
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintains absenteeism records and notifies all TAs/TLs on a period basis all partners' annual absenteeism rates
  • Any and all other duties as assigned by the HR Team Leader and/or Plant Manager
  • Hours and days can/will change due to business needs

What you need to succeed

  • High School Diploma – G.E.D.
  • Associate Degree- Preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain “confidential” information
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multi-task responsibilities
  • Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. Testing (Wonderlic, PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel, etc….) will be required with Guidelines used from the Office Technical and Hourly Leader Job Family. 
  • Must pass required Office Technical testing (Word, Excel, & typing)
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Must be high energy, willing to work long hours and be able to handle stress and change.
  • Must successfully complete the WPT-R, PCI, Excel, Word and any other applicable skills tests
  • Must successfully complete physical capacity testing
  • Must interview for position
  • Must give presentation during interview
  • High Attention to Detail
  • Must have an absenteeism rate of 40 points or less, commendable or better record in teamwork and overall job performance and have no disciplinary action.
  • Must be able to read, speak, and comprehend English for this position.

Experience

  • Office/Administrative – 5 years

Wage: Production 10c ($23.68-28.27 base wage) 24-month progression
