The Filler Operator supports plant production by operating, monitoring, and maintaining filler equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production. This role performs hands‑on operation of filling systems, supports equipment changeovers and sanitation, and ensures product meets food safety, quality, and customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Operate filler and fill‑room equipment, including bag inserters, fillers, uncuffers, and lidding machines, according to standard procedures
• Perform start‑up, shut‑down, and routine operation of filler equipment while monitoring alarms and error codes
• Complete required production documentation, including downtime reports, weight checks, and material usage records
• Perform routine Total Productive Maintenance and basic troubleshooting to maintain equipment performance
• Support equipment set‑ups, tear‑downs, and changeovers to meet production schedules
• Perform required PCP, CCP, QP, and CQP checks and follow established reaction plans for food safety and quality events
• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of filler equipment and fill‑room areas in accordance with GMPs
• Handle ingredients, packaging, and product safely, including lifting, staging, and movement as required
• Support rework, repalletization, or other production areas as needed
• Follow all safety, food safety, quality, and personal protective equipment requirements

What you will need to succeed

• Secondary education or equivalent experience
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in machine operation within a manufacturing or food production environment
• Working knowledge of filling operations, equipment, and production processes
• Mechanical aptitude to perform basic adjustments and equipment support tasks
• Ability to accurately complete production records and documentation
• Understanding of food safety, quality, and GMP requirements
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
