This Engineering Technical Coordinator will provide general CAD support for all US plant facilities, focusing on the maintenance of engineering files and metadata within Autodesk and Vault software. This critical role supports Autodesk systems and maintains drawing standards, keeping the system and accompanying software accurate with current revisions. The AutoCAD Resource will work to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance with company standards.  Working with internal and external customers, this role will support and troubleshoot IT and software issues.

This position is located at our Green Bay, WI location.

Relocating candidates (50+ miles) are eligible for $10,000 relocation bonus PLUS a generous relocation package

What you'll do:

  • Create and update engineering drawings and layouts for all US plant facilities, such as equipment layouts, P&IDs, and electrical drawings using approved CAD standards and tools. Potential travel to the plants to complete field measuring as necessary.
  • Support all US-based engineering files, templates, libraries, and shared design content. Maintain revisions and release status within Autodesk Vault, including all plant master layouts. Control vendor files through a check in/out process. Complete change orders and lifecycle transitions, uploading new files as projects are completed and enforce file naming conventions, as well as metadata completeness. Generate reports on revisions, released files, and change history. 
  • Create company-wide mapping such as plant one-line diagrams, EQ Food Safety Maps, Evacuation Maps, IT and E911 Maps. Coordinate with internal partners and external contractors to follow map processes from creation to migration and storage. 
  • Provide CAD support for plants (electrical, P&ID, safety). Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. Support all Autodesk software, troubleshooting IT and software issues. Audit Vault data integrity and resolve broken references or duplicates. Supports coordination between IT and Engineering teams, helping facilitate information flow and escalating issues as needed. 
  •  Supports Autodesk upgrades by assisting with testing, communication, and user support activities, working with IT and external contractors to complete. Ensure consistent and effective communication and user assistance across all phases of the upgrade process.
  • Back up Contract Administration Coordinator responsibilities and execute additional duties as delegated to support departmental goals and evolving business needs.

What you need to succeed:

  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Design or related field
  • 1-3 years experience with drafting/project process documentation preferred
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, BOMs, and part numbering systems. CAD standards development and enforcement.
  • Experience using Autodesk Vault in an engineering environment. Attention to detail and process discipline Autodesk Vault and Experience using Autodesk Vault in an engineering environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and user support skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively following leadership guidance.
  • Ability to function in a team environment.
  • Desire to grow and take on new challenges / opportunities.
