The Operations Manager will be overall responsible for data entry, accounts payable, payroll, grant report entry, managing the organizations HR, helping and creating organizational and program budgets in collaboration with the SR Operations Manager, and other misc. tasks as assigned.
What you will be doing:
- Managing day to day processing of accounts receivable and payable, producing reports as requested
- Ensure accurate documentation of production and quality control data and records
- Direct oversee site production activities and personnel
- Oversee and ensure high safety standards at all times
- Direct production activities to ensure safety and compliance with quality control standards, regulatory compliance and lease agreements
- Administering payroll and employee benefits and organizational insurance
- Oversee and ensure good housekeeping at site at all times
Requirements of a successful Operations Manager:
- College graduate or equivalent experience preferred
- Three years of experience in business management, planning, financial oversight, personnel management, including hiring, supervision, evaluation and benefits administration is recommended
- Work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization
- Proficiency with office computer equipment and software
Here are some of the physical requirements for this role:
- This position is required to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions for up to 12 hours
- Lift and carry at least 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Climb steps and ladders
- Walk and stand on uneven ballast surfaces for long periods of time
