We are seeking passionate and talented professionals to join our team in delivering cutting-edge cybersecurity, IT operations, and risk management services. This exciting opportunity allows you to work alongside industry leaders, leveraging advanced technologies to support the FDIC's mission of maintaining public confidence in the financial system. 

  • Collaborate with application owners, network teams, and IT leadership to define infrastructure requirements and implement solutions. 
  • Lead disaster recovery planning and testing efforts for Wintel environments, ensuring recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs) are met. 
  • Ensure seamless connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments using tools like Azure Arc, Azure Site Recovery, or other hybrid connectivity solutions. 
  • Ensure the security, compliance, and integrity of Windows Server environments, enforcing policies for patch management, vulnerability remediation, and configurations. 
  • Regularly evaluate system health using enterprise monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds, SCOM, or Dynatrace, and prioritize resolution of identified risks 
  • Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of Windows-based systems across physical servers, virtual infrastructures, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures. 
  • Ensure stability, availability, and performance of enterprise systems, minimizing downtime and bottlenecks. 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Minimum 14 years of hands-on experience managing large, complex Wintel environments with 500+ servers across geographically distributed data centers. 
  • Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Microsoft SCOM, SolarWinds, or Nagios for seamless operational insights. 
  • Practical oversight and knowledge of patch management tools 
  • Deep expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration and services 

  • Proficiency in automation and configuration management through tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, or Windows Admin Center. 

 

Desired Skills:

  • ITIL certification for IT service management frameworks. 
  • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud systems, especially Azure-related services. 
  • Experience automating infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments in a hybrid environment.
