SAIC is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for our customer site in Hanahan, SC.
Job Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)
- Will be primarily tasked with preparing and arranging materials for transfer between projects.
- Provide assistance loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Will be required to obtain a forklift license
- Provide assistance verifying materials against receiving documents , reporting and noting discrepancies and obvious damages .
- Preparing materials for shipment.
- Communicate with leadership, other team members, and the customer.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current SC Driver's License
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Experience Driving and operating up to a 26' box truck.
- Must be able to safely complete all the physical demands of the job in a manufacturing environment , including but not limited to the following:
-Lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to 50 lbs, on a regular basis
-Walking, bending, stooping, sitting, or squatting for extended periods.
-A familiarity with material handling tools such as shrink wrap machines, pallet jacks, tape guns, power drills, ect.
-Familiarity with using a computer and basic program like word and excel.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
